When changing rear speakers please note:

When you remove the lower end of the hatchback lift THE HATCH WILL FALL ON YOU!!!

REPEAT. THE HATCH WILL FALL ON YOU!!!

More brilliant updates on speaker replacement to come.

Nope. And fortunately I was in the garage. None of the neighbors who think my Vette and I (well maybe just the Vette) are so cool could see.

Ya gotta keep your sense of humor.

My head is fine. I was so focused on not damaging any interior parts that I let the darn hatch fall on my back.

What are you replacing them with? Have you done the 3.5 inchers in the door? I'm thinking of doing the same.

I'm putting Boston Acoustics S35's in the upper doors and Boston Acoustics S55's in the rear panels. I have the base (non Bose system). A couple of fellow members have been very helpfull.
