Default Bought my first Corvette

Well I I finally just purchased my first Corvette I have always been a fan of the latest model year available, because each year they improve them or once in awhile introduce a new generation, and the C6 is the best looking Corvette since the C3. Picked up a 2007 Black Z51 with 3LZ and 6speed manual

I wanted a Z06, but for two reason I didnt. First off there is no targa top, and that to me is half the fun of a Vette, having the top come off in nice weather, and second I dont see the price value compared to a Z51 for $30k less

I already ordered my Z06 style rear fenders, spoiler, Black chrome wheels, tires, tint, and lowering to be done next month. I have a black on black, to be turned into the Batmobile. Next year I will do the engine work, to be just as fast as a Z06 for le$$

I am coming off a 2001 BMW M5 for my second vehicle

Congratulations. Looks like you've been here long enough to know what to expect, both from the car and from forum members.

Congratulations! Here's wishing you many miles of smiles in your new C6.
You must mean 3LT. The LZ packages are for the Z06.

Congrats. I have owned my first Vette for a week and am still enjoying every minute behind the wheel and even just standing outside the car admiring it. I wish you the best.

Default Congrats

I brought my 06 LMB home last week and I fall more and more in love with it everday I drive it. I am sure you will feel the same way after a week with your new beast. The mods sound nice. Can't wait to see how it comes out.

You are going to love it.

It will run circles around you M5.
Next, thing you need to do is get an exhaust change.

Bullet PRT's. Great sound and preformance boost.

Engine - Maggie or Supercharger for faster car. You'll need suspension work to compete with the Z06 though.
LAPD can redo your suspension that will be better than the Z06.

Have fun and stay safe.

Thanks for the reply

What kind of suspension mods can be done to a Z51 to make it better than a Z06 ?
