I registered my car on Friday, over 24 hours ago. How long does it take to complete the process. I did enter my VIN when I registered. When I log on, it says "If you have entered your VIN, updates are pending". What is that all about? I mainly registered to find out about recall info.

That site is quite useless for recalls. Just check in here at the forum.
This also is good:

It will literally take forever. They have a bug in their system. You must email them with your VIN. That will do it, usually in less than 24 hours.

The site update is virtually useless. Email them or call them with the VIN and it will get it going.

I think they tell you in one or more places that it may take 60 days. They registered my VIN within 2-3 days with my 05 C6, but they made me wait 62 days with my 06 C6. In both cases, I sent them an email telling them what I needed.

The site did tell me that my car had a recall for the 05, but not for the 06.

The site has never worked for me. It had on one occassion sent a bad javascript or something preventing me from getting at my other bookmarks. Nevertheless, I do not use the site and consider it junk.

It works for me but I don't find it terribly useful. I do use it to keep track of all service activity (the dealer's show up automatically and I add mine).

It doesn't track (predict) mileage accurately, even if you have the right estimates entered. It will change estimated mileage almost at random. It will go along for weeks and be very accurate, and then all of a sudden add 5,000-10,000 miles when I have changed nothing and the estimates I entered are right on!

I emailed them last night and asked them to add my VIN to their database. This morning (Sunday) I got a phone call from them welcoming me to the site.

You will HAVE to call them with your VIN. Then it will work!
