Does anyone know where I can purchase a factory replacement alternator in CHROME?

I am looking to chrome the entire alternator, not a cover. Any idea where I can find this?

I got a feeling that the only way it can be done is to take one apart and send the housing out to the plater.

I recently purchased one from Corvette Chrome Goodies ??? Not a Forum Vendor, but if you PM me I will give you their contact info. Get your AMEX card ready however....$700 Alt, $200 Bracket.
