All, I think I'm ready to add the Flowmaster cat-back to my C6. Although I really do like the sound of the stock system, I'm just in the mood to have something different for awhile. Stock sounds really good at upper RPM's, a little limp at lower, especially at idle. So, I would like to just have the stock sound, only with a tad more authority everywhere, especially at idle. Here's the thing, I do not like loud exhaust. To me, it has it's place on certain cars but the 'Vette isn't one of them. I tend to think of the C4 and up as sports cars, not muscle cars. So, for the guys that have this system, is it a worthwhile mod and which tips look best, 2 or 4? Thanks for the info!
The only difference is asthetics, so only you can decide what looks best to you.

You're the only one that can really make the decision BUT I like the dual tip systems better. When I get a 'Vette' that has 4 cylinder banks instead of two, then maybe I'll feel having 4 tips out the back end will be required. I guess I'm just 'old school' and it seems natural to have one tip for each cylinder bank.
i think that i am in the minority when i say i happy with the stock exhaust and i love the 4 tips. if i ever change it out i will be going with the factory tips.

Man, that does look cool! What system is that and can you retain your exhaust plate?
Your pipes look quite a bit closer together that quickride... is there a bend in the pipe after the muffler that does this? They both look great, but I think i prefer them closer together like Steve's.

PS. Walt and Steve, your systems look great too!
This is the Flowmaster system and yes, you can use an exhaust plate if you like. There are some photos on the forum somewhere of a member who did install an exhaust filler plate with this system.
