I love the blue looking tint that comes on the Benz an was wondering if that would look ok on my LMB with Titanium Interior. The car will be here in about 5 weeks. In my mind it seems like it would be cool, but I also think it could be cheesy...opinions please
I bet it would be hard to match the shades of blue. If they are not in the same blue family they could clash badly. Remember LMB has a lot of purple in it in certain lights. All you can do is give it a try, tint is pretty easy to get off if it's new... Have them do a side window for $25 or so and if you don't like it you are not out much.
I personally don't care the blue tint M-B uses at all. To me, it looks cheesy. I'd never opt for it on a Corvette. If you're going to tint your LMB, go with gray or black.
one thing to consider is that the windows have a light greenish factory tint so that will affect the new film and may alter the ultimate color you are seeking to achieve
Thanks guys..That's what I love about this forum...you get peoples honest opinions. Looks like gray will win. I thought the blue could be cool or cheesy but when I put some serious though into it, it owuld be more cheesy than cool.....thanks again for bringing me back down to reality.
The blue tint you see on some Benzes is baked on tint from the factory, as you probably know. I agree it looks pretty good. Stick-on blue tints exist, however they look cheap and don't look nearly as good.

I have seen it done on a yellow vet with yellow tint and it looked pretty
If you do it and don't like it, seems you can always change it back minus a few $
