Default [PICS] Flowmaster Quad Tip System

Had FM 17427 installed about an hour ago. As you can see I was able to keep the exhaust plate from the OEM system.

Also, I kept the OEM system and it fit in the back of the car just fine for transport home.

I like! They have that typical FM sound that I have loved since I bought my first muscle car 30 years ago.

They are actually louder than I thought they would be, but not bothersome. It just took getting used to after having such a tame exhaust note. They are quite loud when I accelerate; however, are pretty quiet when cruising on the highway at 65-70 MPH. There is no"drone" that bothers me, but as we all know, "drone" is very subjective.

IMO my Corvette now sounds like it should.

I am very pleased with the looks of the tips.

319.00 at a place I talked to today and they have them instock
# is 1800 276 6399
I dont see why someone would spend money on any other system except for stainless steal but you could replace the system 4 times for the price of any other or better yet put the rest of the money towards more mods.
just my 2 cents

That exhaust plate looks different form the ones I've seen around - looks nicer. It is angled on the top where the ones I see are square. Is that the GM one? Where did you get it?

Nice pics!

UPDATE: Oops, I did a search and found it advertised for $229. Never mind...

Force-1 -

Very Nice Choice on the Flowmasters
If I were buying new they would be my first choice.

I think the exhaust tips could be a little bigger to fill up the gap, but as a plus they look very much like stock and they look very good.

Enjoy and keep us posted with your experience with them,

Howard

Looks good but is it just me or does that bright yellow plate on a silver car draw way more attention than it should? That's the first thing i noticed and it drew my attention away from everything else.
