I've had my new Vette for one week and I'm getting ready to give it it's first bath. I'm very fussy, so I noticed that the dealer prep boys slopped the polish over the flat black molding. What's a good product for cleaning the molding, and for regular maintenance is it best to just let the car wash liquid do its job or is there a specific product for the molding? I used Mother's carnuba wax on my former car, and it looked good, Any thoughts?
I had window tinting installed today--medium dark (the legal limit in Florida). Kind of expensive--$260--because of the complex curvature of the rear window. It looks awesome with the black exterior.

Back to black for the plastic black molding works very well. Keep wax off them.
