What is this? It came on at the track tonight. It sporadically comes on but only at idle. Nothing seems wrong with the car. Voltage is fine, it ran great at the track. Any clue what this is????? thanks in advance Matt

we have some cars with the harmonic balancer bolt loose causing simular concerns.
if you are able look to see if there is a bolt sticking out from the center of the harm. bal.
there has also been program changes
see your local dealer...

Try your horn. If it doesn't honk, then you need to go to the dealer and have the fuse and horn replaced. That's what happened to me.
reason for checking the harmonic bal. bolt?
what turns the alternator?
oh. I thought that was the crank pulley...
we had problems with the harm. balancer
not seating to the oil pump causing mult.

Happened to me too a few days ago. Some old lady was sitting at a red where she could have turned, so I laid on the horn probably for 30 seconds. About a minute later, got "Service Charging System" and horn stopped working. Dealer replaced horn assembly and fuse yesterday, and all is well.
