Tune Question
Guys I need some basic info on tunes. I have a 92 LT1 and I am not familiar with all of this tune stuff. But I just got a 07 A6 and I want a tune but what kind of tune do I get? Can I get a tune from a programmer (like the ones that connect to the diagnostic plug), or tune in which it goes on a dyno and the computer is tweaked by a person? Also can I get rid of torque management and tune my A6 tranny from a tune? THANKS GUYS

You might have better luck posting this question over in the C6 Tech/Performance section. I don't know much about programmers but it seems the Diablo Predator only works for 2005 C6s so you would not be able to use it on your '07. You may also want to check this thread regarding mail order tuning:

Good luck, I wish I could get rid of TM on my A6 also, but it seems like kind of a PITA to do so. Until then I will just keep pushing the TC/AH button and putting the shifter in "S"...
