Default Vin Id

How can you tell if a C6 is a 1LT or 2LT with the VIN.

I don't think you can tell what trim package you have by the VIN. Anyway you might want to check out this thread that breaks down what information the VIN contains.

The VIN does not identify 1LT, 2LT or 3LT unless you have access to the GM VIS system.

DOSENT EVERYBODY?
OH THATS RIGHT ONLY THE DEALER DOES..

No, you're a GM Certified Corvette Tech (which means you work at a dealership and therefore have access to VIS).
