thanks glenn and all who posted. yeah, compared to others, my warm-up technique is way conservative. a little surprised. i stomp on my vette every chance i get, all the way to redline, but only after oil temp hits 200F.

I always wait until full temp, 190 ~, for water because by then every other fluid will be at op temp, as well. What's the hurry?
