Due to an issue with a flat, I had a set of F1 GS-2 tires installed on my front wheels. The issue is I still have the supercar tires on the rears. Will this create any significant issues other than uneven mileage between the sets of tires?
I doubt there is a problem with this unless you track the car. They are both good tires. I am curious about something else though. Have you noticed any change in road noise or ride quality since the change? Thanks.
It might be just me, but the ride noise is different. A little louder maybe? I don't know for sure exactly how to describe the difference, but I can tell there is a difference.
Thanks. I think the GS-2s are be a bit noisier than the Supercar tires, at least on concrete freeways. I think they ride a little rougher over bumps too. Not a big deal, but noticeable. This is a small price to pay for the outstanding combination of performance and treadwear of the GS-2s IMO.

I just replaced my Supercar Tires with GS-2's. They do seem a bit more noisy, but not enough to bother me, especially since I should get at least twice the mileage from them. One thing that I did was get a good 4 wheel alignment done, the tech couldn't believe how far off the alignment was from factory specs. Money well spent--e

I thought the GS-2 would have been quieter and softer riding than the SC F1's?
