Look in your owners manual it will tell you the correct number for the filter. Any auto parts store would be able to give you the correct filter number for the various brands available for your car.
Remember guys, the PF 48 is for all 2007 Corvettes and the 2006 Z06. The '05 and '06 use the PF 46 or UPF 44. (The PF 44 is also OK but it has been replaced by the PF 46)
Not sure of the dealer number but you can use a Fram, K&N or what ever in there. I have used all in every car I own. Even with Mobil 1 I still change the oil every 4K miles cause no matter what the filter dirty oil is dirty oil. Filter all you want in what ever filter you want be it syn or not and the dirt is still there. Does not answer the part number question but you can get a filter anywhere other than the dealer unless you need that piece of mind tha GM makes such a great filter like all the other items they make. If you are worried about a warranty issue keep a GM filter on your garage shelf and pop it in before you go.

Uh, perhaps you don't understand that the 2007 LS2 block is different from the 2005 and 2006 engines. It doesn't have the oil bypass valve in the block. You have to use the new GM filter which has an internal bypass valve. Using something else could lead to a blown filter, and a blown engine.

That is so important, it needs to be repeated. Thanks shopdog.
Chevy says that we only need to change oil every 15K miles. I am planning to do my first oil change about 8.5-9K short of that, as soon as I return from my October vacation trip. The question that I have had is will the oil filters for C6 Vettes be effective clear up to the 15K mile mark? Few oil filters go that long. The Chrysler recommends, that the synethetic oil in the 300C (5.7L HEMI V-8, 340 hp) be changed every 3K miles. Chevy says 15K mile synethetic oil changes for C6 Vettes.
WHY the large difference?
