Chandler AZ we hear you! Meanwhile back in the midwest... BRRRRR!!!
Even the bun warmer and a heater blowin' 90 degrees on my feet weren't enough for this evening's commute with the top down here in St. Louis. The prospect of imminent snow is frustrating 'cuz I can't find snow shoes in C6 sizes.
I did learn I can can now get TPM sensors from my dealer for a $35/wheel. Now all I need is a second set of chrome wheels and a proper set of winter tires. Bridgestone makes a 245/40QR18 Blizzak RFT for the front, but not (yet) a 285/35QR19 for the rear.
Man i hate winter today it snowed for the first time this year its about time to put the baby up for the winter, Mid 30's here in Mich, Oh yeah dont let me forget this Go Wolverines #4 in the nation!
Winter hasn`t hit South Florida yet........but then has it ever
Drive on
Yeah, winter can be a pain for the C6. The window index feature does not like when the windows are frozen and will not move. And you must shovel the snow out of your driveway in order to get the C6 out... with my other taller cars I never shovelled the driveway, I just drove out over the snow... I hate shovelling... the C6 however is not good at running through deep snow drifts, etc... so you better get a snowblower or be prepared to do some shovelling! Another thing that sucks about winter is that you can't take the top off... but the C6 is still super fun to drive even with the top on so it's not a problem
All those folks from the South don't get to experience that feeling of finally going on your first Vette drive in the Spring after a Winter's nap. AHH what a feeling. Like having a new Vette all over again.
Don't get me wrong would love to have the Vette as a DD, but impractical for me. Always hauling around stuff, so I need my truck.
I also need my change of seasons. What's Christmas without snow? And what the hell would I do with a snowmobile in the South?

I agree, taking your car out of winter storage in the spring is a good feeling knowing that everything is turning green again and the temperature is rising. Storing a car for 5 months also keeps the miles down. I don't mind the snow but I hate the cold temperatures. I also agree that Christmas wouldn't seem right without snow. My parents own a condo in Palm Desert, California, every Thanksgiving we spend a week there for the holidays, it doesn't look right when you see Christmas lights and decorations in the desert.

Lived in Michigan 43 yrs, been in Florida for last 17+yrs. Guess I need to be reminded what this winter thing is! Only thing that snows in Florida is tourists when it gets cold up north. I remember when I'd have to put my '67 away starting in November and keep it in storage for 6 mos. Man what a pain. Good luck.
