Default Need help.....

I am not sure what you call them but I want to know if anyone has or knows where I can get a schematic drawing of the area between the air cleaner and the upper intake manifold. I need to see a blown up version of all the parts. I hope I made myself clear.

Thanks.

Working on some engine enhancements and I need to order the replacement air flow sensor that is mounted in the accordian style boot.

Keep the MAF. Just pull the MAF out , and cut a hole in your new shroud about the same size as the original. Don't put the MAF too far into the shroud or you'll mess up the readings and interfere with the laminar intake flow.

Look at installation guides for Haltech intake etc on how they do it.

I'm not a big fan of the accordian style bridge duct either. It's flexible, but when I think about the edies that must be around the surface of the duct, it makes me at why GM didn't install a smooth rubber bridge.
