I did a search and checked the manual. I may have overlooked it but what is the adapter in the center console for? it is near the acc. pwr outlet comming from the console into the compartment. It has some wires attached to it and looks like a cell phone charger on the plug end.
I assume everyone has one of these but I cant find any mention of it in the manual.

It probably is a cellphone charger, maybe left in the car by the previous owner, or by the salesman who was using it as a demonstrator.
weird, plug part looks like a charger end but it has 2 wires comming from it. most chargers dont but i would think the F55 hookup would look differant on the plug end. Ill bring it to them and see whats up now that I know its a deformity and not a tail thats meant to be there.

Why don't we think of it as a free option instead of a "deformity"? Nicer sounding, no?
No doubt, Ill just get a cell that matches it
Thanks everyone for helping me out with this. By the way second day with my new car and put 500 miles on it. Loved every moment.
