Installed Bullets
Just woke up my '05, Z51, MN6, Nav with new exhaust. Bought Bullets with dual round tips through the Group Purchase with Tbyrne. Had one complication. It seems that when the car was assembled, the upper stud on the right exhause flange was bent after the exhaust was installed. When I attempted to remove the nut, it broke. It was 4:45pm today. Called a Chevy dealership and the nearest part was 20 miles away. No stud-no drive. Quickly called my brother-in-law who works at this dealership and he was there! He brought home the stud an I was still in business. Got everything together and it sounds great. Some hints for anyone who does this project. I used Rhino Ramps and jack stands on the front. I found that the driver side muffler should be removed first and installed last. Taking out the mufflers from the rubber hangers was not easy. I put some dishwashing soap to facilitate the assembly. The project took about one and a half hours including the clean up.
