Bullets Installed
Put on Bullets last night. Woke up the beast. I bought them through Tbyrne on their recent group purchase. Not a difficult job. Had one problem. It seems when the car was assembled, some clod bent the upper stud on the exhaust flange. When I attempted to remove the nut, it broke. This was at 4:45 last night. Called Chevy. Only one available was 20 miles away. No stud-no car. Fortunately, my brother-in-law works at that dealership so I called him. He saved my a$$. For those of you who may do the job in the future here are some steps I found helpful. I had the backof the car on ramps and the front on jackstands. Once taken apart, remove the driver side mufflers 1st and install last. I put some dishwashing liquid on the rubber mounts to helpwith the installation into the hangers. It was difficult removing the stock mufflers from the rubber mounts and possibly some soap at that point might help.

I love the "music". I have an '05 coupewith Z51, 6speed, all the options. Yes, they are loud. My other Vette is a '64 with the off-road side exhaust and the interior noise seems greater. There is drone at a lower rpm with a load but I shift and it's gone.

I had them installed a couple weeks ago. They sound great mean as Hell!!! They definetly wake up the neighborhood thats for sure!! Of course there is a drone like crazy but with a manual its not too bad. I like them alot!
