Looks great. Wet sanding? Was the finish in poor shape?Isn't that harsher than a clay bar? I know,so many questions.

I would never Wet sand the clearcoat.

Wow, that's an awesome wetsanding job! Too bad you're not close to the east coast, the paint on both of my rides needs some TLC haha

I thought long and hard before having the car wet sanded. However, I had some kind of overspray that covered the entire car and could not be removed by buffing with a polish. Also, I did my homework to locate a professional paint and body shop who had experience with fiberglass, and corvettes in particular. They showed me examples of previous work. Obviously I am happy with the results. It really resulted in an entirely new appearance for the car. I am now considering a clear film application (clear bra) over the car for increased protection. BTW the shop used 2000 grit paper and three different pads to buff out the sanding marks.
