Default WCC Chrome Wheel Exchange Program Advice

This has probably been covered before, but as a new corvette owner and forum member, please have patience with us newbees. Have any of you purchased chrome wheels from WCC using the exchange program? If so, were you pleased with this type of purchase/exchange program?
Thanks for your comments

This has been asked and answered a bunch of times. I did the WCC exchange program and have no complaints, only praise.

However to see as many responses as possible do a SEARCH;

Click on SEARCH, then Click on Advanced Search, in the box on the left type in WCC Chrome Exchange.

That should answer ALL your questions.

I did the exchange with WCC a few months ago and it worked out GREAT.
Saved 1000 bucks over factory chrome wheels too.

I did it 16 months ago and am very happy. Wheels still look like new.

I'm very happy with my WCC chromes!!

Fortunately I happened to be driving through the area on a road trip so just stopped in and had them do the exchange.

Ok, you asked for advice, so I'm going to give it:

1.First off let me say that the product is fantastic, the wheels look great, awesome job on the chroming.

2.A couple of things you need to watch out for: 1. It took almost 10 weeks for me to get back my core refund on my credit card. In my opinion, this is poor. You should not have to wait 10 weeks to get back your $1200.

3.Difficult to get an answer, or feedback from them via email as to shipping status.

4.If you order on their website you will be charged a VERY high shipping charge for one way shipping (I believe it was almost $300). You will need to call them to have the shipping changed to (2 way), and you will also hopefully get a refund. This is something that should be done automatically but I guess they make a lot of money on shipping charges if you don't catch it.

Again, the product is fantastic, the logistics of ordering, getting your core charge back, and not getting nailed with freight overcharges needs to change.

I recently exhanged factory wheels for chrome ones from WCC. I conducted the whole transaction over the phone.

I am extremely happy with the wheels and their service. I guess I will have to wait to see how long it takes to get my credit for the exchanged wheels.

Also, you will receive the wheels in two boxes with a prepaid FedEx shipping bill. Just put your old ones in the boxes and call FedEx for a pickup. Very easy. Just be sure to return you exchange wheels within 10 days of receipt of the chrome ones.

Great. I recommend the exchange. Click on the link below to see what I wrote about my experience just about a year ago. Today, my wheels look as good as the day I got them.
