I had my garage floor painted last week and had to put MIDNT outside under the car cover for 3 days. After removing the car cover, I noticed tiny scratches and It's really bothering me when I look at it. I need you help. How do I rid my baby of these defects? First of all, I will never put the cheap car cover on it again. I will invest in a more expensive one with a carbon fiber liner. Any help would be appreciated.
Depending on the depth of the scratches (I am assuming only in the clearcoat) you can probably have a good detailer take them out with a little buffer time. I had a dog scratch my drivers door and the detailer at the dealer took it out with his wheel in about 10 minutes.
Good Luck with it.

If you're not proficient with a buffer, it's best left to professional!
Liquid Glass Polish should take care of those scratches if there aren't major ones. Been using it since 1979 just for this. One of my cars has over 30 coats of it on.
Was the car washed right before putting the cover on? Has the cover ever been put on a dirty car? Usually that's what causes scratches is dirt on the underside of the cover.
Scratch X is a filler. It will look good for a couple weeks. To get rid of scratches, you need a fine abrasive. Start with the finest possible to avoid adding more scratches. 3M Swirl Mark Remover for Dark Cars works great. If that is not abrasive enough to remove them, try 3M Finesse rubbing compound - Fine. Then hit it with the Swirl Mark Remover, then wax.
If the Fine won't take it out, I'd take it to a pro. Anything more abrasive than the Fine compound and you really risk adding more scratches if you don't know what your doing.
I only use a soft dust cover for indoors parking. Outdoors, if the car is water tight, just let it sit outside. A little sun or rain won't hurt it. An outdoor car cover will.
