Fuel door problem
My Vette is an 05 1sb z51 A4. All of a sudden everytime I release the fuel door to fill up the car with gas I can't shut the door. I have to open the trunk, peel back the carpeting, and manually return the "manual fuel door release handle" with my fingers. And other times it just opens while I'm driving. Very embarassing, considering what I'm driving. Does anyone have a quickfix for this problem?

After 8k and 1.5 years mine started with the same problem. I found if you press the release button again it pops out. Sprayed a small amount of wd40 and now it appears fine.

Exactly, plus make sure the "pull handle" in the trunk has a tad of slack in it.
