I would suggest you start by looking at the C6 FAQ Sticky at the top of the page of titles. Here's a link from that thread that might help. There may be others if you'll look through the FAQ.

Thanks it helps, but they are talking about the passenger door. Where are the screws in the driver's door? Is it as easy to take apart?

Its basically the same thing as the pass door. You can figure it out.

I am a novice at this, I never messed with any car parts in my life so I need a little walking through here. The driver door is fairly different than the passenger door. Can anyone please help?

There is a plastic tab 3 inches long covering the Torx screws behind the door pull. Remove them, Then, with your fingertips pry off panel starting from the UPPER left side of door panel it should "peel" off

Well if your not comfortable doing this then take it to your dealer. They should fix it free of charge if its just the door rattling.

As mentioned, remove the tab.
The torx screws are exposed, remove them.
The button to open the door can be pulled out to facilitate diconnecting the wiring to the button.
Botton edge of panel is a slot to start a tool for prying panel off from the bottom up. Lots of noise, but no damage.
Lift up off window sill after everthing is loose from the bottom up.
Reverse to install.

Just to be clear, the tab that I have to remove is that oval shaped, carbon looking tab that holds the door release button?
So it's only one screw?

It's under the door handle. It'll pry off and reveal 2 torx screws. T-30 I believe. Same color as the door panel. About 3" wide by 3/4" tall

When reinstalling the torx screws, don't over tighten. On is set in fiberglass in the door and will strip out easily.

Maybe I am just stupid, but you guys really lost me now.

---> I am trying to remove the driver side door panel so I can fix the rattle noise.

The door release handle is in the car, not on the door panel itself, am I missing something here?

The button is on the panel surrounded by the silver plastic. Unless you are referring to the emergency door handle to the left of the drivers seat.

So the only screw that holds the door is behind the button?
What part is the "tag" that people were referring to?

That piece is the cover that covers the two torx screws. Look at the face of the panel by the door pull on the panel.

I wish I could find a pic for you. When you're in the car and go to open the driver's door, you grab a handle on the door with your hand and push the button with your thumb. Behind that handle your hand is on is a small plastic, door-colored plate, perhaps 1/2" tall and 3" long. Pop that off and there are two torx screws behind it. Remove those. Then, look at the bottom of the door panel where it meets the door, get down on your back and look up. There are slots to start prying the bottom of the door panel off with a tool, use a padded screwdriver. Once you can get your fingers between the door panel and the door at the bottom pull out until the panel is just hinged along the top edge. Now lift it straight up and the panel will be free. Reach behind and disconnect wiring. Hope this helps. Will keep looking for a pic.

After reading the whole tread, it is obvious that you are not confident in taking apart the door panel. DON'T do it then. Isn't your car still under warranty? If so, then simply take it to the dealer.
