Just removed my corvette logo door sill and after removal I have noticed alot of leftover adhesive. Any suggestions on how I can remove this without damaging the finish?

Thanks.
Goo Gone, WD 40, Polishing Compound all work pretty well mixed with a little elbow grease.
I,ve used WD40 to remove a number of different type of adhesives, tar, tree sap and even mixed it with polishing compound to rub out a door scrape. This stuff is almost as valuable in the garage as duct tape.
Many detail shops use a product called Acrocyl to remove adhesives. It's not sold retail. Check with a cardealer's detail shop or parts dept. or try a body shop to buy a small quantity. Bring your own container.

... I used goo be gone but you gotta let that stuff set on there for awhile. Maybe 15 mins. After the adhesive got melted I then used a soft plastic squeegee to scrap it off. A old credit will also work. Keep wiping the squeegee with paper towel as the adhesive comes off. Make sure you clean the sill plate very well after your done so the new sill plate well.
