Default drivers window

Took the Vette in for the roof separation and when it came back the driver side window goes down an inch when door is open, but when door is closed window does not return to closed. It worked before it went to be repaired. Is there a setting or something I am missing? Also the mirrors never moved before, and when it came back they set themselves to some location that made it impossible to use them. Are the two things somehow related?
thanks,

For the windows, it sounds like you need to reset the window indexing. I believe it is done by closing the window and holding it in the close position for three seconds or something like that. I is in the owners manual though.

Sounds like your settings on the memory were reset for the mirrors. Just put them where you want them and choose the memory you want to save it to with the seat memory.

Many folks here have told us that disconnecting the battery causes only the window indexing to have to be reset, but others have had problems with mirrors, etc..

To reset the window indexing, raise the window and hold the up switch an extra 3 seconds. Release. Without lowering the window, hold the up switch again for 3 seconds. Release. Done.

I'd try resetting the mirrors where you want them and store those positions with the memory buttons on the door. Only if they don't hold those positions would you need to go back to the dealer.

It and the inside rear view mirror are auto-dimming. However, you can turn off the auto-dimming. There's an ON/OFF switch on the front of the inside rear-view mirror (not the buttons on the bottom of the mirror). If you have OnStar, there's a button with a symbol on it, but I've forgotten what kind of symbol is on that button. In my 06 coupe without OnStar, there's a rectangular button labeled "MIRROR" that turns ON/OFF the auto-dimming.
