Maybe because I'm an old Fart, but I like the original polished wheels better. I like the Z06 wheels best.

 

Black wheels on a C6 are butt ugly regardless of the exterior color. The factory chrome wheels look way better.

 

I think the chrome looks better. The black wheels look awesome on black cars.

 

The thing about black wheels is that when the car is sitting still, and you are standing right next to it in good light, they can look nice. Stand back 100 feet, or look at the car going down the road and the wheels don't even exist. That's just the reality of black wheels.

Black on machine silver or black, but not on other colors.

WTF is everyone looking at? The only problem with the black rims is the color. The chrome rims are hideous and DO NOT belong on a Corvette. Do you people really have that bad of taste? Let's take a second look.....

I don't know, man...The black wheels remind me of my 63 VW I had in high school; when I couldn't afford nice wheels, so I painted them black...Didn't like those chrome ones either, though...Polished looks great...

 

Usually the shiny stuff always gets the approval.

If you do decide to stay with black. Think about putting some black nuts on the wheels instead of chrome. It will blend better. you can get them from McGard. Check their website.
