Default Nav Screen

I bought my C6 Jan 2006 and had the screen remain dark (black) only a couple times in Feb and early Mar. This morning it was dark again (it's 37F degrees) and has been sitting garaged for a week. I suspect it is cold temperature related. But we have been in the 20's recently and it was fine. Has anyone else had this occur. Radio funtions fine, if you feel your way around the screen (Helen Kellar tuning) and just push. The station shows on the heads-up when it changes. Of course this makes the Nav unit worthless. I am sure it will be ok when I leave work this afternoon as it has before (I hope). Just wonder if anyone else has had this experience??

I've had a few cold mornings and my NAV screen has never had a problem.

I have never had a problem like that in the cold either.

Mine does the black screen occassionally in the colder temps, but it works fine once the engine warms up and the air coming out of the center vents is warm.

I don't see a need to take it back to the dealer as it is a temporary nuisance that corrects itself when the cabin warms up.
