Broken Rear Axel shaft
I need some advice on what to do about replacing a broken drivers side axel shaft on an 05 corvette. The car has a procharger ,long tube headers and a few other goodies . The half shaft broke on the wheel side . they are sending me the outer part of the cv axel . Has anybody changed just the outer half of the cv axel?

Check the C5 section. Lots of threads on axle related issues. Changing one out is fairly easy. There's one going on right now because a guy is changing his outboard boot. The process is the same.
