Default Wind Deflector

I am looking at buying the c-6 wind deflector for the convertable when the top is down. listed as corvette accessory on the gm website. This appears to fasten somehow behing the seats. Has anyone bought one and does it work?

I looked into it but decided against it. It works but you can not put the top up with it on. First time installation is a pain in the rear. it takes up a good chunk of the trunk. YMMV

I've got the GM wind deflector on my '05 & have been pleased with it. It's a bit of work to install, but nothing that a weekend do-it yourselfer can't handle. Keep in mind, nothing (other than putting up the top) will compeltely eliminate wind buffeting, but the deflector does reduce the effect by 30-40%. Yes, you cannot raise the top with the deflector in place, but it easily slides on & off the brackets. As for space, if you carry it in the trunk, a cover is provided & it does lie flat on the floor of the trunk. My vote is "go for it"!
