Default Vette Questions

Long story short, sold my last sports car for an 07 tahoe.....tired of the suv jazz and found a 05 C6 with 12k miles, 6 speed, and poser C6 Z06 wheels.

Im not for certain about the z51 package as i am still new to the c6 models. I know it doesnt have HUD, or navigation. what else should i ask about as far as trim or options that may make a diff. in the price?

dealership has offered 38,500 OTD........ should I jump on this or keep shopping around.

Thanks for any help and additional info.

It sounds like a 1SX(base model) or 1SA(few options like better seats, side airbags etc.) You say out the door at 38k, What is the purchase price?

Sounds like it doesnt have too many options.
some other important are:
z51 ($1600)
alum wheels ($1600)
on star ($1000)
multi disc CD player

If youre saying the 05 vette costs 38k - that doesnt sound like a very good deal. Kerbeck is selling 07s for just under 40k.

For $39,500 + TTL you can get an 07 1LT with 0 miles from one of the forum dealers. Assuming that taxes are about $2k of that $38.5k OTD price, this would equate to about $3k for new instead of used or about $0.25 each to buy back those used miles. I'd pass on that one.

You can get a new Corvette stripper for 40K. (It'll come with 100,000 mile warranty also.) If you can buy the 2 year old car for 25K that would be ok.

25k?? Cmon now be fair. that would be a good deal on a C5, but youre not going to find that on a lkow mileage C6 in good condition - not yet.

I would say about 33k would be a good deal on an 05 with low mileage.
