Does anybody know the formula of how to get into the DIC codes from the reset buttons or a thread of where to get it? I use to get into my C5's but this of course isn't the same. I asked on the tech board and they said I needed a reader but I don't think they knew what I was talking about. Thanks guys

There aren't any DIC codes, though the DIC does report some error messages. Those are cleared by hitting the reset button. The OBDII codes are not available through the DIC in the C6. The folks in the tech forum who told you that you need to buy a code reader were correct.
Oh sorry, I thought it would be simular to the C5 where you could access errorr codes from the cabin. I wasn't aware that they changed that in '05. Thanks for updating an old computor!!

It was nice to check the codes with the C5. Too bad they did away with that feature on the C6.
Unfortunately the DIC diagnostic mode has been disabled on the C6. You cannot press any combination of buttons like you could on the C5 (hold the options button and presss fuel 4 times ) to list the trouble codes. The tech forum guys were right, you need a code reader.
