How do you remove?
How do you remove the front storage mounts for the coupe roof. The service manuals don’t even acknowledge their existence. If fact the carpet removal does not mention them and the rear piece removal shows a convertible rear which doesn’t even have top mounts. I’ve tried the basic push / pull / twist and even trying to see if the carpet just goes over them like the rear mounts. No luck.

That's it. They are held in place by tension spring - type things and are pretty tight. Don't be afraid to use some muscle.
