I was adjusting the air pressure in my tires today and it appeared that when I filled the left front tire it would register as the right front on my DIC. The rears read fine. Is this possible or am I delerious. Any comments are welcome, thanks.
Sounds like one of two possible explainations. Either the front sensors are not on the side they were registered for, or not enough time has gone by for them to update the TPMS.

Like gota07 commented, the TPS will only update every 15 minutes when parked, that could be it. Have you done any work to the car....new wheels maybe. They could have been put on the wrong side when swapped.
Had that happen on my C5 . . . had new tires put on, but didn't stand there and make sure that the wheels went back on the appropriate sides, and voila, TPS with dislexia.

Yes they could have if they didn't keep track of where each sensor was originally mounted. Once the TPMS has learned which wheel position (RF, LF, RR, LR) each of the sensors are in, they need to remain on that same corner of the car, or the TPMS will give swapped results as you are experiencing.
On the C6 you need a Tire Sensor Reset Tool that transmits a radio frequency to the sensor to "excite" it, which gets it to transmit its ID# and tire pressure to the TPMS computer in the car.

It sounds like they swapped locations of your sensors when they put on your new tires/wheels. The sensors are location specific - when you "register" the sensors with the TPMS computer you must do it in the correct order so that the TPMS knows which sensor is in which corner of the car.
If new tires are put on and the same sensors are used and go back on the same corner of the car they were originally on, then there won't be any problem. If they mix them up, then you'll get an indication just like you're getting - the DIC will not correlate with the actual pressure in the tire. That's not really a problem either, as long as you know that when the DIC says your "Right Front Tire Pressure Low" that you know that it really means the "Left Front".
Here's a video of using a Tire Sensor Reset Tool. You can see how simple it is to do. For the C6 you have to have a tool like in the video below (there are several types, and the TIPS tool is shown below).
