Just a final item from me on the tintcoat. I did some checking and confirmed that all eight colors are done the exactly the same; prime, base coat and clear coat. The only difference with Velocity Yellow, Atomic Orange and Monterey Red is the clear coat is tinted. The plant does not add tint to the clear coat; it comes to the plant already tinted by the supplier.

And those 3 colors are the ones that GM charges an extra $750 for. Of course, it doesn't explain the extra $300 for LeMans Blue.
Doesn't matter to me, I'm crazy about the looks of my Monterey Red in bright sunlight.

Thats interesting because Atomic Orange is not a tricoat (does not use a tint coat) when sprayed outside the plant
