I own a 2007 coupe and I noticed that both my visor lights are quite dim. My 1998 Corvette and 2002 Lincoln visor lights are considerably brighter. Is there any way to increase the brightness? It is not bright enough for my wife to put her face goop on. I am tired of holding a flash light so she can see.

Have you noticed whether or not daytime or nighttime makes a difference? There doesn't seem to be anything in the owner's manual about it. I suspect you'd have to look at aftermarket products.

I did a search through the 2007 owner's manual on my PC harddrive and found only this reference to the vanity mirror on page 88.
Lighted Visor Vanity Mirrors
Pull down the sun visor and lift the cover to
expose the lighted vanity mirror. When the cover
is lifted, the lamps will come on automatically,
even if the ignition is off.
The only other reference is the 20 minute time limit the interior lights will stay on.
I couldn't tell you how bright they're supposed to be. My wife sat in my 06 C6 one time. No goop.
