Default How Long?
I'm going on a 3-4 week vacation to visit family. I was wondering if I should disconnect the battery being that I won't be able to start it. Is 3-4 weeks too long to leave it sitting?

The target for number of days for the car sitting and still restarts is 30 days.

Of course, some guys have commented on a discharged battery in less than a week.

You could always hook-up a battery tender instead of disconnecting your battery if you decide to.

Put a battery charger on it set to trickle charge and you'll be fine

Mine sat for a little over 3 weeks this summer and started up just fine when I returned. Individual results may vary.
