Default Radar wire??

I have the passport 8500 and ive been trying to figure a way where i can mount the detector and hide the wire. Do you guys have any pictures of how ur radars are mounted with the wire hidden i just hate it dangling from the cig lighter to the windshield.

You can tap in at the rear view mirror connector. There are several post about this. A search should find these posts. Someone even sells a made up cable with a couple of pins to stuff in the rear of the RVM connector or you can make your own for about 2 bucks. You can then stuff the cable up under the upper interior windshield trim.I made my own and it is out of sight and works perfectly.

If you’re mounting it up high by the mirror, just pull the interior trim piece off the A-Pillar and fish the wire behind it.
Make sure the wire is clear of the fastener holes and then snap it back in place.
No tools required.

That product is invisacord. 30 second installation. Works like a charm.
