Default Stereo Question

Have I just not found a way to do it, or can you NOT listen to your stereo in a 2007 C6, without having the car started, for example if you are waxing your car etc, because I know the stereo goes off when I open the door to get out. If Im doing something wrong here please let me know, because I have not learned all there is to know about the car yet

when you get out of the car, close the door and reach in and hit the start button, but don't start the car.You can go to accessory mode or the mode that keeps it on for 10 minutes or so.you hit the bottom of the start button, turn the radio on and hit the start button again for the timer thing,or leave it in the acc mode(yellow light).Oh,and it's 3am,I have no idea why I'm up and My head isn't clear,so the explanation might be a little hard to understand, but I think you'll figure it out!

IIRC holding down the bottom of the start button for about 10 seconds will put it in ACC mode without the auto 20 minute shut-off you get with just a single press.

You should go back to your dealer and ask them why they didn't give you an owners manual!
