How or where can a person find out if there are any recalls for his/her Vette?

Any GM dealer can do it for you. You can also get it at www.mygmlink.com but registration there has been a hassle for most of us.

 

I've registered with mygmlink (albeit a PITA), it states (on the vehicle home page) my new vette has a recall but when I click on the link it says there aren't any recalls for my car?!?!?

 

Don't know what to tell you. My Roof Recall showed up on mygmlink. Now that the roof has been replaced, it no longer shows any open recalls.

Have a dealer look it up. There are several forum members with access to GM's system that can look it up for you.

 

ODD,I just went to MYGMLINK,as I signed up there a while ago,and the OPEN RECALL FOR MY VEHICLE is listed also,but then it's says no open recalls.I think it's a system snafu.I'll call the dealer Monday anyway.

There's a "BULLETIN" on the rear transmission seals leaking. I am in the process of my second go around in 1 month with that.

 

Definitely check with your dealer...there are the numerous TSBs issued, and this is your best way to find out...plus it is to the dealer's advantage to get you in for service under TSB.
