I CAN'T BELIEVE I NEVER NOTICED THIS BEFORE BUT THE 05 STEERING WHEEL IS NOT ROUND. when i got gas yesterday when turning around i noticed the when i spun the wheel that when upside down it was lower then when right side up. so i stop and do it agian. sure enough it is. i guess they did it to give you more leg room going down the road. any body else noticed this. is the new wheel this way?

 

You must have gotten a bad one. I'd take the car back for a full refund.

 

It very well could be oval shaped, but probably the pivot point is offset from the center so you have more leg room when the wheel is in the straight ahead position.

 

Yep. But it's not the only car I've owned with this condition.
