'07 Hud

I've heard GM reduced what can be dispalyed on the HUD in '07. Is that correct?

They actually increased the display functions. But they did do away with the fuel gauge display!!!! You have 3 display settings with 2 showing the G meter. You can have circle or linear tach reading and then have 5 readouts: oil temp, trans temp, water temp, oil pressure, and ?. I do miss the fuel gauge reading from my 03 though. The speed numbers are a bit larger now and more green in color. I just show the tach and speed on mine normally.

No HUD fuel gauge in 2005/6 either.

No it's not. They did make some changes from C5 to C6. Brighter readout and no gas quage. But that's about it.

There is a fuel gauge in a sense on the HUD - when your fuel is low it tells you to check gages and only shows your speed - from Track 2 which is where I keep mine.
