Can someone Include the "How To" on this DIC Customization?
Can someone include for the newbies the link or document that states how to do this DIC Customization?? I assume this level of detail is not mentioned in the Owners Manual.
Just Curious. I used the C6 FAQs page and followed the forum link for "Customize DIC". It had a picture and statement from "Tracy" which included an uploaded image of her steering column showing "TRACYS CORVETTE" within the DIC so I know it can be done. No link in that forum on how to do it either.

jchaney007 - I don't remember just where in owner's manual the info is located - but its there. You are limited in number of characters, so plan ahead and be prepared to take a little time to input the new message. Only one line is possible. But it is fun to do if you can come up with something unique. To display the 2 different messages, only have to press button 1 or 2 on the driver's door.
For me:
FOB 1 says "NCM Delivery"
on FOB 2 (the wife's) it read "Where is Glynn" - took her about 2 months before she realized I had changed it - she thought the car really was asking for me?
I thought it was very funny - she didn't ... so I've changed it for her to read "07 All About Jackie" (last year was my year) - peace reigns again.
