What are the differences between the three Corvette options 1LT, 2LT and 3LT? Then what about specifying rear gear ratios?

Rear axle ratio has nothing to do with option packages 1LT, 2LT, or 3LT. If you get the manual tranny, you get the 3.42 rear axle ratio. If you get the auto tranny, you get the 2.56 rear axle ratio. You cannot get any other rear axle ratio except as an aftermarket.

1LT is the base coupe package. Here's what's in it.
Active Handling
Air bags, dual front w/passenger side suppression
Air conditioning, dual-electronic
Brakes, 4-wheel disc, 4-wheel ABS/Traction Control
Floormats
Fog lamps
HID lighting
Power hatch pulldown

The base convertible is the 2LT package, so the base vert has both the 1LT & 2LT features in it.

On my Coupe, I went for the 2lt, just for the better seats and the red interior option.
