I was wondering if any Corvette owners are bigger than me. At 6' 1" tall, 300#'s and 43 years old, I am asked from time to time how I manage to get out of my C6. Actually, it's relatively easy as long as I can open the door at least 3/4's of the way.
I love driving my car and wouldn't consider owning in any other vehicle. Anyone bigger?

6'4" 210lbs. I usually keep the window down, it makes it easier to get in. Getting out; swing both legs out first, then pull out using the door jam and the sterring wheel. My dad is same height as me but 280lbs, he looked goofy climbing out of his '67 and looked even more so in mine. He made it a point to lose weight after he saw a home video of himself climbing out of my car.
At your size, it would depend on your athleticism. Some men weighing in at 300lbs have alot of muscle annd have adapted accordingly. Others are "dunlops" and look like giant bowls of jelly. To each his own, but try the leg swing thing, works for me and the old man.

6'5", 265. Used to weigh 318 pounds in August of 2000, but now I'm a runner and have been in the 260's for about 6 years. Pleanty of headroom and legroom in my C6.
A goofy picture my daughter took of me in my C6 after about a 12-pack of miller lite.

Hi,
I have about 20 lbs on you, and get a lot of the same comments. I usually reply it doesn't matter how you get in or out, it's the experience once you're in that counts. Also, I have size 13 shoes, which presents a lot of problems when I have to park in tight spots.
Anyone of the other big boys ever try to slip into a Viper? How'd that work out? (Please no negative comments about Vipers, I'm just curious.)
