Default Low voltage indicator message

Just bringing my 05 out of winter hibernation. I had it stored with a battery tender on it. Im the 3rd owner of the car and not sure how old the battery is. Well the car was running for about 10 minutes and a service charging system message popped up immediately followed by low voltage message. Car was reading around 5 volts. I did shut it off and of course it would not start without my jumper box connected. Was still reading 5 volts. Im assuming the battery is toast ? Is this a correct assumption?
