Looks nice! From distance, the color doesn't look bad at all. I'm sure in direct light it's different, but it looks great!

[QUOTE=hoffie;1558413056]Just installed my Widebody Conversion kit with a little help of my Forum buddies(Vettejoel,C6coupe,Par34n5,And kenny.

Help from who??? Lets see...I spent 2 hours under your right quarter panel and an hour and a half under you left one. Jimmy was in charge of making sure you didn't have too much beer in the house, Kenny was giving us the molecular breakdown of your quarter panels and Bill...well he was just there to pay for dinner.
Your car looks awsome buddy

Looks great Hoffie! The price seems inexpensive; was that from a vendor or did you get some kind of great deal?

The paint looks good in the pix. Car looks awesome. From other post, it must sound pretty loud. There's no sneaking out for a quick ride.

Not loud...."Sinister" comes to mind......Surrounded in a sea of car enthusiasts yesterday, a few revs of Hoffie's beast had everyone smiling, no matter what they were driving. When you hear a Cobra owner say "Now THAT sounds awesome!" you know you did it right!

Someday.....someone's gonna say.."Yeah, Craigster copied Hoffies car..." just remember...imitation is the sincerest form of flattery....

Every time I got a call on the cell, seemed like Joel was the one turning most of the wrenches.

Hey Joel, thanks for helping Bob out with the conversion. Your in the will.

Did you guys ever think about putting together a corvette private club and do shows? Since you do it anyhow, you could bring a large amount of vettes to Chevy Dealerships etc etc, etc and charge a minimal promotion fee to be used for get togethers and dinners ??????

They do it in Florida where I live and the dealers are happy to get the publicity. They might even cut you a deal for parts at cost etc etc. If you do privately, it wouldn't be a burdon.

Looks great, Hoffie!

BTW, if you do the front end body panels, maybe the Z06 scoop could be filled in so as to not detract from your beautiful motor city mold hood.

Regarding the above statement.....if I was you I'd hold on to those 9.5 front wheels because if I had to guess both you and your dad will do the full conversion before the year is over. Hahahaaa.

Don't get me wrong both cars look great...like you said just get the 8.5's up front until you procure the front fenders.

I agree that the paint looks pretty darn close in the pics.

Mind me asking where you got your US Flag inlay on your rear crossflag? Me likey

I was the only one turning the wrenches....Bobby was willing to, and he did turn a few, but once you get started you don't want to stop.

Hey Joel, thanks for helping Bob out with the conversion. Your in the will.

Yippie............Oh wait a minute....you know your other half is going to say to that idea..
