Back in the late 50's the drive was free. I used to drive it a couple times a week just to beat the stress from school. Even back then it was so popular that you couldn't really drive the twisty parts like they should be driven, but the scenery along the coast is great.

Here it is. I am in Monterey this week and thought it would be cool to find that same spot where you took your pic.
The lighting wasn't as good for me, too late in the day and a little too hazy.
It probably wouldn't hurt to clean the lens on my camera either.:o
