Absolutely no logic to personal taste--to each his own. My 05 C6 (very low VIN!) is my second white/red combo and my daily driver 06 Monte Carlo SS is white too.
I like it, can't ascribe any logic to it, other than it looks good to me. It's more a Chevy thing for me, and there is no logic to that either.

LOVE my artic white with red interior. Had a guy with a black C5 tell me white will be his next color becasue of cleaning and heat in the summer.
If I did not get white, I think I would go with silver...even easier to keep clean, or, at least looks clean longer.

I love my white corvette. I wish I didn't have black interior (heat), but you live and learn.
I think my question is, why is it so hard to find pictures of white C6 corvettes? I mean, on the Corvette website or Road and Track or any professional pictures.....

I've got it and love it; I prefer to have a Corvette color that you don't see every day. Note that the new Porsche GT3 is being marketed in white.

Everyone knows that "All Corvettes are Red"
Red color also fades.
White is one of the lowest maintenance colors you can get and it lasts very long. It doesn't absorb the heat like black does but in fact reflects the heat from the sun. White is much more forgiving when you get swirls, scratches and have to do touch ups.

I waited almost 30 years before i bought my first new Corvette. Originally wanted LeMans Blue but saw this white convertible/red int. Suddenly realized that was what my first ride in a 1958 model was and that did me in.
Lots of vettes in this area, NO WHITE ONES! I get a lot of looks and compliments. So does my wife.
