Default DSOM or AO????

I found a great deal on a 05 DSOM, I was originally wanted the AO. I was just looking for some opinions between the two oranges
and yes I know what they say about opinions

Personally i got the DSOM. then i saw an AO on the road and had some regrets... (he actually lives by me i think) because ive seen it a few times, and i parked next to it as well... after day comparisons and night comparisons... i think im more happy with my choice... the AO has more of a bright flare, but the DSOM seems to be more badass looking. plus if you get a used vette, more money for mods

DSOM all the Way! But I am prejudiced... I have a DSOM Car.
AO is cool, but the DSOM at night looks darker and in the day is bright so its the best of both worlds for me.

I first saw DSOM in 05 and loved it, then in late 06 saw AO when it just came out and really liked it too.
I really like them both, AO is way more flourescent and bright and DSOM is still Bright yet somewhat subdued. I Just couldnt justify the extra money for an 07 when I could get a great deal on my 05. So that settled it.

When I tell people my car is Orange they think of a Pumpkin.
Then when they see it they realize they had the wrong mental picture.

Either way you cant go wrong...

They are both great colors.

I initially wanted a DSOM and was disappointed when they discontinued it and thought I was settling for a AO.

I have an AO and now prefer it. After seeing the colors side by side in different lighting conditions, both look great in sun, the AO obviously being brighter. In the shade and in overcast conditions the DSOM looks too dark for my tastes.

At Carlisle last year myself (DSOM Vert) and Frank (Another Yellow coupe ) ( Atomic Orange) parked side by side to show off the colors. Most people I talked with liked the DSOM. It just appeared the car stood out much better in the nice sunlight we were enjoying.

If you buy the DSOM you'll wish you bought the AO and vice versa

I waited to see AO before I bought my DSOM vert. My Avalanche is between the 2 colors. I like them both although AO may show dust/dirt a little less. Bottom line I think DSOM looks a little classier.

I own an AO vert. but prefer the DSOM. Went with AO because of the drivetrain warrantee. Both are nice colors.

Default Dosm

I have gotten many great comments on my DOSM vert. I like the AO but think it is to bright.

The DOSM is a classy color and a little rare in the vette colors (as far as I have observed in S. Cal.).

Yes, everyone has one. Yours is the only one that counts.

I have an D.S.O.M. '06 coupe and I love the color. I think the A.O. is to light but it 's a personnal preferance.
